Ballistic separators

- Screened fraction
- Light fraction
- Heavy fraction

Sediment separator
The equipment is designed to separate various solids from liquids. Separators reduce the need for maintenance, because they keep equipment clean since they separate abrasive particles before they enter the irrigation system.
The separated material will enter the tank for further disposal. If we are talking about downhole separators, then the separated particles fall to the bottom of the tank. This equipment cannot be called a full-fledged filter, but it allows you to prepare raw materials for further filtering. Thus, filter cleaning time is significantly reduced.
To understand how the equipment works, you need to know the principle of its operation, which is quite simple:
- Raw materials enter the sump, while heavy particles settle to the bottom.
- The tilted shaftless screw moves the heavy particles up. Then the dehydration process takes place.
- After dehydrated solids get to the top of the screw. As a rule, they gather in a container from here.
Solid particles and liquids enter the equipment and under centrifugal action the system separates the heavier particles, sending them to the filter walls, then they are sent to the separation chamber. They are collected in a chamber, and then separated and removed from there by a manual method. Filtered water enters and leaves the separator.
