The project itself involved the creation of four different bridges in Stockholm. A lot of different facilities of Levstal were used to both create the parts of each of the bridges, as well as to connect everything into a single unit.
Any steel bridge is a combination of many different parts – floor beams create the baseline on which the actual material of a bridge rests upon, vertical posts are created to keep the structural integrity, diagonal bars are used to connect different parts of the bridge together, and so on. The massive construction facility sizes also allow Levstal to combine different parts of a bridge into a single structure that is far easier to install once delivered to the location that the bridge is going to rest at.
