Agriculture sector is one of many industries that require a large number of extremely specific equipment to be able to operate properly. A lot of such equipment is often created using some variation of steel, which makes it a great fit for a company such as Levstal – its wide range of different operations is great for creating some of the most sophisticated segments and details for different industries and use cases.
This particular project for a client in Finland was centered around manufacturing seven silos for the agriculture sector – the client’s drawing was used as the reference point, and the collective weight of all 7 silos was 110 tonnes. The material that was used to manufacture this entire project is carbon steel. A large number of different operations were performed by Levstal in the process of manufacturing silos for this project, including welding, assembly, NDT control, painting, and so on. The final product’s shipping was also managed by Levstal.
