The heavy car industry is another example of how many industries of different sizes demand a lot of specialized equipment. Since a lot of such equipment is using metal as its main material in the first place, it is no wonder that Levstal is great for these kinds of jobs, offering a wide range of steel fabrication services and operations to create even the most sophisticated appliances and details.
This specific project was no different – a set of equipment for the heavy car industry requested by a client in Sweden, with a total weight of 50 tonnes. Since this is not regular equipment by any means, a client’s drawing was provided to create all of the details exactly as requested. There were also many different operations involved in the process, such as welding, painting, NDT control, assembly, and even shipping – all of it was successfully handled by Levstal.
