Industrial buildings are often made using a rather strict visual style with little to no deviations from a standard “box” of a warehouse with a variable size. Of course, there are exceptions, but the majority are made in a relatively similar fashion. Business areas and buildings, on the other hand, such as shopping malls, often have much more freedom in terms of creativity and unusual design choices.
Luckily, companies like Levstal are still capable of working with such unusual circumstances, and have a rather profound experience when it comes to shopping malls of all shapes and sizes. This particular project was centered around Nautica shopping center, which is a building in Estonia. Levstal’s task was to manufacture a rather large assortment of steel structures, such as beams and trusses, for this particular shopping center. The project used carbon steel as the main production material, and it was successfully completed in the years 2016-2017.
