Custom Silos for Chemical Liquid Storage

A leading waste processing company turned to Levstal for the manufacturing of two custom silos designed to store chemical liquids. Following client-provided blueprints, we produced silos measuring 9 meters in height, 3.4 meters in diameter, and weighing 15 tons each. 

Preparation and Material Selection 

To ensure resilience in challenging environments, we selected high-grade carbon steel. Additionally, we developed a robust packaging and transportation plan to reduce risks during delivery. 

Manufacturing and Quality Assurance 

Production involved precise cutting, drilling, bending, welding, and component marking for easier on-site assembly. Quality assurance included non-destructive testing, such as magnetic and ultrasonic methods, throughout production to ensure structural integrity. The final stage involved applying the client-approved coating color. 

Timeline and Outcomes  

Thanks to Levstal’s efficient processes and experience, both silos were completed in just two months, meeting deadlines without added costs. Delivered installation-ready, the silos enabled the client to start operations immediately.
